Singing Circle: Traditional Songs from Eastern Europe

This workshop invites everyone—regardless of experience—to explore the beauty and power of traditional polyphonic songs from Poland, Ukraine, and Georgia.

Through simple voice and breath exercises, we’ll prepare to sing together. We’ll learn songs that have been passed down through generations—sometimes joyful, sometimes meditative—each carrying the character of its region and community.

Expect:

- A friendly, inclusive atmosphere- Songs taught by ear—no sheet music needed- Focus on listening, blending, and singing in harmony- A space to connect through voice, rhythm, and shared presenceWorkshop will be led by members of the singing group "Surowica" and will be held in English with a possibility of Polish and German translation.
