Build Your Own Shamanic Drum · Retreat with Jairo Palchucán

We invite you to a special two-day workshop to build your own ceremonial drum — guided by Jairo Palchucán, traditional medicine man, artist and instrument maker from the Putumayo region of Colombia.

This is a space for hands-on creation, reconnection, and ancestral rhythm. Over the course of two days, we will craft our own shamanic drums using traditional methods, natural materials, and deep intention. Jairo will accompany the process with his wisdom, music, and presence — sharing stories from his lineage and guiding each participant in the sacred act of creation.

The workshop includes:

• Two full days of drum-making and guidance

• A beautiful nature setting (Chorin/Schorfheide) with lake access

• One night of accommodation in shared rooms

• Fire gathering and live music in the evening

• All meals included (vegetarian and nourishing)

• Time for connection, rest, and natural integration

This is an intimate group of 12–13 people. The space is quiet, held by trees, and ideal for grounding, creative focus, and communal warmth. No prior experience is needed — just the willingness to come with open hands and an open heart.

At the end of the retreat, you will return home with your own handcrafted ceremonial drum, created in a circle of care, nature and ancestral guidance.
